Springfield's all time leader in games played, goals and points, Jimmy Anderson was the face of hockey in Springfield for over 15 years.
An Honored Member of the American Hockey League Hall of Fame, Anderson started his career in 1954-55 as AHL Rookie of the Year.
His 43 goals in 1960-61 and 40 goals in 1963-64 led the AHL.
Anderson's 5 goals in 1960-61 and 7 goals in 1961-62 led the Calder Cup playoffs in those seasons.
