Local product Gerry Foley was a three time Calder Cup champion. He was a member of the Pittsburgh Hornets in 1954-55, and with the Indians in 1960 and 1961.
While a member of the Buffalo Bisons in 1958-59, Foley's 5 playoff goals led all AHL scorers.
